We can teach a framework. We cannot teach judgement, care, or the willingness to finish something properly when nobody is watching.

You finish things

The last 15% is where most software dies. We care far more about what you have carried all the way to production than about what you started.

You write for the next person

Code, commits, decisions and documentation. If it only makes sense to you, it is not done. This is the single strongest signal in our process.

You argue well

You can hold a position with evidence, change your mind when someone has better evidence, and do both without making it personal.

You care about the user, not the stack

Technology choices are means. If the answer is a boring framework and a well-modelled database, you are happy to say so.

Application

You send work, not a cover letter. A repository, a shipped product, a write-up of something you built and what you would change.

Conversation

45 minutes. What you have built, what went wrong, what you learned. No brain-teasers, no trivia.

Paid exercise

A small, realistic problem close to the work you would actually do. Paid at your rate. Take it in your own time.

Team session

You meet the people you would work with, review your exercise together, and ask us anything.

Offer

We decide within a week of the last session. If it is a no, we tell you why.
