Muzzlab Technologies

Privacy policy

How Muzzlab Technologies handles personal information, written to be read rather than to be survived. Last updated 6 September 2026.

01

Who we are

Muzzlab Technologies ("Muzzlab", "we", "us") is a software engineering and product design studio operating from Lagos, Nigeria and Oakville, Ontario, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect through muzzlabtech.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

If you have a question about anything here, email sales@muzzlabtech.com and a person will answer you.

02

What we collect

We collect only what you give us and what a website needs to function. Specifically:

  • Information you submit through our contact or consultation forms: your name, email address, company or business name, phone number or location, budget and timeline indications, the capabilities you selected, and the message you wrote.
  • Information you send us directly by email or telephone.
  • Basic technical information your browser sends with every request, such as IP address, user agent and referring page, which is used for security, rate limiting and diagnosing faults.

We do not collect special category data, we do not ask for payment details through this website, and we do not buy personal information from third parties.

03

Why we use it

We use the information you send us for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and, if it leads somewhere, to carry out the resulting engagement.

  • To reply to your enquiry and to arrange and hold a consultation.
  • To prepare a proposal, scope or estimate at your request.
  • To perform a contract with you, and to keep the records that engagement requires.
  • To protect the website from abuse, including limiting how often the same address can submit a form.

We do not add you to a marketing list because you contacted us. If we ever start a newsletter, you will have to ask to be on it.

05

Who else sees it

We keep the number of parties involved deliberately small. Your enquiry may pass through:

  • Vercel Inc., which hosts this website and processes requests on our behalf.
  • Resend, which delivers enquiry emails from the website to our inbox.
  • Our email provider, where the enquiry is stored and answered.

We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not disclose it to anyone else unless the law requires it or you ask us to.

06

International transfers

We operate from Nigeria and Canada and use service providers who may process data in the United States and the European Union. Where personal information crosses a border, we rely on the contractual protections our providers offer and take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected to the standard described in this policy.

07

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept for up to 24 months, so that we have context if you come back to us, then deleted.

Records relating to an active or completed engagement are kept for as long as the relationship continues and for the period afterwards that our tax, accounting and legal obligations require.

Server logs used for security are kept for a short period and then rotated out.

You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner and we will, unless we are required to keep it.

08

Cookies and tracking

This website does not set advertising cookies and does not run third-party tracking or profiling scripts.

Your browser may store small amounts of data locally to remember interface preferences. That data stays on your device and is never sent to us.

If we later add privacy-respecting analytics, we will update this policy before switching it on and say plainly what it measures.

09

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have some or all of the following rights over your personal information:

  • Access, ask for a copy of what we hold about you.
  • Correction, ask us to fix anything inaccurate.
  • Deletion, ask us to erase it, where we are not required to keep it.
  • Restriction and objection, ask us to limit or stop a particular use.
  • Portability, ask for your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Withdraw consent, at any time, without affecting anything we did before you withdrew it.

To exercise any of these, email sales@muzzlabtech.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or your local supervisory authority.

10

Security

We take the same approach to our own systems that we take to our clients': encryption in transit, least-privilege access, dependency and secrets scanning, and a small number of people with access to the inbox where enquiries land.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant regulator as the law requires.

11

Children

This website is aimed at organisations and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

12

Changes to this policy

This policy was last updated on 6 September 2026. If we make a material change, we will update this page and change the date. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated policy.
