Genius Hub interface

Genius Hub works with women, girls, children and returned migrants on reintegration, skills and anti-trafficking. We rebuilt its web presence so the work is legible to donors, partners and the communities it serves.

Founded in 2018, Genius Hub runs communication-for-development programmes across Nigeria. The site does three jobs at once: explain programme work to institutional funders, reach the people those programmes serve, and hold a growing archive of reports and field stories.

What made it hard.

Development-sector language is dense. The site had to carry programme detail donors require without becoming unreadable to the communities it serves.

Impact needed to be shown, not claimed, through programme structure, field evidence and reporting rather than adjectives.

A small team needed to keep it current without technical help.

The decisions that shaped it.

Two registers, one site

Programme pages open with a plain-language statement of what the work does for a person, then descend into the structure, partners and reporting a funder needs. Nobody has to read the wrong layer.

Evidence-led storytelling

Field photography, programme timelines and outcome reporting are structured content types, so every new programme automatically presents itself with the same rigour as the last.

Warm, human, credible

Generous type, real photography and unhurried spacing carry the organisation's warmth while keeping the institutional credibility that funding conversations require.

Where it landed.

A clearer route from a first-time visitor to a funding or partnership conversation.

A publishing model the internal team runs without developer involvement.

A consistent presentation standard across every programme the organisation runs.
