GACN manages Nigeria's domestic gas supply on behalf of the federal government. We rebuilt its public platform to speak to suppliers, power generators, industrial off-takers and regulators at once.
GACN sits at the centre of Nigeria's domestic gas market: buyer requests, allocation, Gas Sale and Aggregation Agreements, escrow for sellers. Its audience is Gencos, gas-based industries, distribution companies, ministries and international partners. The old site read like a brochure. It needed to read like national infrastructure.
What made it hard.
A single site had to serve five distinct audiences with conflicting information needs: suppliers, power generators, industrial off-takers, regulators and the press.
Dense technical and regulatory material, from aggregation frameworks to the Petroleum Industry Act and Domestic Gas Delivery Obligations, had to become navigable without being diluted.
The brand needed to project the authority of a federal instrument while remaining legible to international investment partners.

The decisions that shaped it.
Audience-first information architecture
We mapped every question each stakeholder group arrives with, then restructured the site around those journeys rather than around GACN's internal org chart. Suppliers, off-takers and press each get a direct path from the homepage to the document, process or contact they came for.
An editorial system, not a set of pages
News, publications, tenders and management profiles run on structured content models with consistent typographic rules, so the communications team can publish without a designer in the loop and without the site drifting.
Institutional visual language
Deep navy, restrained green and full-bleed industrial photography establish scale and seriousness. Sharp rules and a strict grid do the rest. The design gets out of the way of the subject matter.
Performance across real Nigerian networks
Aggressive image optimisation, deferred non-critical assets and a lean critical path keep the site fast on constrained mobile connections, which is how most of its domestic audience arrives.

Where it landed.
A single authoritative destination that consolidated fragmented communications into one governed platform.
Self-serve publishing for the communications team, removing the developer bottleneck on news and tender notices.
A presentation layer credible enough to sit alongside GACN's international partners and member companies.
